Police lay voyeurism charges against local man

MEDICINE HAT, AB — A 24-year-old Medicine Hat man is facing voyeurism charges following a police investigation.

Davis Eichendorf was arrested on November 11 and is charged with three counts of voyeurism and three counts of trespassing at night.

According to police, a man was allegedly spotted looking at a woman in a bathroom through a window in the 4000 block of 13th Avenue Southeast on August 31. Police did not locate the male at the time, but a fingerprint was recovered by the Forensic Identification Section.

When the man was arrested by police, investigators allege Eichendorf is responsible for two similar incidents, which occurred on March 16 and May 27 in the same area of the city.

Eichendorf has appeared before a Justice of the Peace, and was released on cash bail recognizance with multiple conditions. Eichendorf is scheduled to appear in court again on November 22.
