Two collisions blocking traffic in city

MEDICINE HAT, AB — The snowfall in Medicine Hat is impacting drivers on Friday.

A collision has occurred at the bottom of Altawana Drive NE, which has prompted police to temporarily close the hill in both directions as they clean up the collision.

Police are also dealing with a jackknifed semi in the westbound Trans-Canada Highway near Medicine Hat College. Emergency crews are at the scene.

Police say both collisions are blocking traffic.

Drivers are advised to find  alternate routes and adjust their driving to the road conditions.
