Tigers players raise $1,000 in honour of Gina Hamblin

MEDICINE HAT, AB – A special presentation at Friday’s Medicine Hat Tigers game, supporting the Canadian Cancer Society and one of their own.

Midway through the first period against the Moose Jaw Warriors, Tigers scratches unveiled a cheque for $1,000 to be donated to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Money was raised by members of the Tigers organization and was donated in memory of Gina Hamblin.

The mother of Tigers forward James Hamblin, Gina passed away from cancer at the age of 52 on September 6 in Edmonton.
