MEDICINE HAT, AB — Two-time 30-goal scorer Max Gerlach will return to the Medicine Hat Tigers lineup tonight after missing several weeks with a series of head and neck injuries.

The 19-year-old Texan was the victim to a vicious slash to the mouth from Prince Albert Raiders assistant captain Brayden Pachal on Oct. 7.

Gerlach lost a tooth, and has since undergone coinciding root-canals on his two front teeth. His recovery efforts brought several more head and neck injuries from past games to light, resulting in six games away from action.

Speaking to CHAT TV Sports with a noticeable scar on his upper lip, Gerlach gives the details into the injury and recovery process, along with what he hopes to bring to the Tigers as they prepare for a tough bout against the East Division leading Moose Jaw Warriors.
