Firefighters respond to house fire on Cameron Road

MEDICINE HAT, AB — Firefighters responded to a house fire in Ross Glen Thursday morning.
The fire was located in a home at 295 Cameron Road Southeast. The call came in at approximately 9:30 a.m.
Firefighters say the fire started in the basement of the home, and was largely contained to the basement when crews arrived. Fire damage is visible on the exterior of the home.
One person was trapped in the home when firefighters arrived, but was able to escape the home once firefighters arrived. The man was taken to hospital iwith non life-threatening injuries.
