MEDICINE HAT, AB — Having spent more than two decades coaching elite level junior hockey, Medicine Hat Tigers head coach & GM Shaun Clouston knows a thing or two about fielding a successful team.

He says several key pieces must come together to win games, division titles, and league championships.

But it's not all about the win-loss record — he instead insists the most important factor in coaching junior hockey players is overall player development.

Now six games into his eighth campaign manning the Tigers bench, fresh off the organization's first Central Division banner in 10 years, Clouston shares his thoughts to CHAT Sports on how he envisions the next few months unfolding.

The Tigers play host to the Everett Silvertips at the Canalta Centre on Wednesday night (7:00pm).
