RCMP in Taber on scene of crashed semi

TABER, AB — RCMP in Taber are advising motorists a section of Highway 36 will be impassable for several hours.
According to a news release, a semi truck and trailer has lost control near the Chin Lakes reservoir south of Taber, and is blocking both the north and south bound lanes. Crews are working to clear the scene.
The weather has closed Highway 3 from Taber to Medicine Hat, and Highway One from Calgary to Bassano. In Okotoks, RCMP have responded to 13 different collision where weather played a factor.
