Man charged following collision near Lloydminster that left three Edmonton women dead

LLOYDMINSTER, SASK. — RCMP in Maidstone have laid multiple charges in a motor vehicle collision that left three Edmonton women dead near Lloydminster.

Brandon Stucka, 26, has been arrested and is facing multiple charges following a collision between a stolen truck and a minivan on Highway 16 Friday night.

Eva Tumbay, Jeannette Wright, and Glorious David died Friday on Highway 16 near Lloydminster, Sask., when police say the minivan they were in collided with a stolen truck. RCMP officers had been following the truck, but were ordered to pull back about half an hour before the crash.

A fourth woman, 32-year-old Janet Wright Gaye, remains in hospital with serious injuries.
Stuck has been charged with criminal negligence causing death, criminal negligence causing bodily harm, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing bodily harm, failure to stop at the scene of an accident, flight from police, possession of property obtained by crime, and three counts of breach of undertaking.
