SEAC Bantam AAA Tigers announce 2017-18 roster

MEDICINE HAT, AB – With the regular season on the horizon, the SEAC Bantam AAA Tigers unveiled their 2017-18 roster on Friday.

The team features four returning players from last year’s team that finished in last place in the Alberta Major Bantam Hockey League.

Up front, Caleb Wyrostok is back after finishing second in team scoring as a rookie with eight goals and 15 points in 30 games.

He’ll be joined by 2003 products Mason Mowat and Ethan Machan, who are both back for their second years with the Tigers.

On defence, Quintin Unreiner is the lone returning veteran after playing in 35 games last year while also scoring a pair of goals.

Affiliate players from last year in defencemen Carsyn Good and Tanner Gold, forward Callen Prosofsky, and goaltender Brendan Olson also cracked this year’s roster.

Forwards – Dayden Collier (‘04), Mason Mowat (‘03), Vann Yuhas (‘04), Caleb Wyrostok (‘03), Callen Prosofsky (‘03), Ty Moore (‘03), Cayden Dumanowski (‘03), Vaughn Strutt (‘03), Jase Fleury (‘03), Roman Cherniak (‘04), Ethan Machan (‘03)

Defence – Carsyn Good (‘03), Quintin Unreiner (‘03), Tyler Miller (‘04), Tanner Gold (‘03), Gerret Harty (‘03), Cole Rath (‘03)

Goaltenders – Marek Andres (‘03), Brendan Olson (‘03)

The Tigers get the regular season started on Sunday, when they travel west to face the Airdrie Xtreme at 1:30 pm.
