Kinsmen Club announces Home Lotto winner

MEDICINE HAT, AB — The Kinsmen Club of Medicine Hat made one Medicine Hat resident happier Friday afternoon.

Dave Romanuck was announced as the winner of the Kinsmen Club of Medicine Hat’s annual home lottery.

He won a home on Sierra Road Southwest valued at $500,000.

This year, the club sold 7,042 tickets out of 8,400 available.

The money raised from the lottery helps the club fund several community programs, including free public skating and swimming in the summer.

In addition to the home, several residents also won jewelry, gift cards and almost $24,815 in cash from the 50/50 draw.
