MOOSE JAW, SK – After a week-long break, the Medicine Hat Tigers (2-0) return to the ice and continue their 2017 WHL pre-season on Saturday night across the border.

The ‘Tabbies’ are in Moose Jaw to face the Warriors and are coming off a 5-3 comeback victory over the Lethbridge Hurricanes.

In that game both Josh Williams and Mark Rassell had four points each, while goalie Kaeden Lane stood on his head to pick up his first WHL pre-season victory with 18 saves.

It will be a very rookie-heavy lineup for Medicine Hat, as six of their veterans are currently at NHL rookie tournaments across North America.

Rassell and Zach Fischer are wearing the flaming ‘C’ for the Calgary Flames, forward Mason Shaw is with the Minnesota Wild, blueliner David Quenneville with the New York Islanders, sniper Max Gerlach at Arizona Coyotes camp, and James Hamblin representing the Tigers with the Boston Bruins.

Centreman Nick McCarry will likely make his debut after signing with the team earlier in the week, while Lane and Duncan McGovern will tend the pipes.

Opening faceoff from Moose Jaw is set for 7:00 pm.
