Great to see new “unique” restaurants opening in town like the Jamaican restaurant in Cres Heights. Good luck to the owners and I hope to see more unique restaurants opening here (and fewer franchises).

What is with all the inappropriate tweets recently from the Cypress MLA and our former MP – one posts childish callouts/memes and a lot of false information (aren’t we paying for the UCP to have more research assistants than the actual governing party??? – or are the research assistants sixth graders??) and the other “chats” live with porn bots on Twitter at NOON and then says he had too much to drink when people call him out on his inappropriate behaviour. COME ON, elected officials, you are really making our region look bad on social media – smarten up and act like professional leaders or at the very least mature adults!!!

I am thrilled to have caught a couple of shows during the Mad Hatter Comedy Festival. I was blown away by the talented comedians we have locally and the out of town headliners are amazing too!

People who flick their cigarette butts out the window. Are you joking? Not only is half of BC on fire so you should have more respect for the damage such an act can cause, but can you seriously not just wait until you get home? The road is not your garbage can.

Disgusted, but not shocked that our local paper cherry picks comments for the “ticked off” section. They are biased and work in tandem with the city. Residents should know they are not being told the truth regarding issues surrounding city politics.

Mad that the city is still treating a local woman so unfairly! I would expect this sneaky behaviour from an airline but not from the city of Medicine Hat! I would need to sell my home if my monthly payment went up that much. This MISTAKE needs to be fixed.
