MEDICINE HAT, AB — Albertans are encouraged to out into the country this weekend and learn about where food comes from, as Alberta Open Farm Days runs this weekend.

Three regional farms are taking part in the annual event, which gives Albertans the chance to go on tours, ask questions and learn more about local farming operations.

On Saturday, three local farms are opening their doors for the event. Big Marble Farms, a greenhouse on Highway 3 and Range Road 63 outside of Medicine Hat will be open for tours from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Neubauer Farms will be hosting a Farm to Table Feast Saturday night, with free shuttles leaving the UFA Farm Store at 1467 30 Street SW beginning at 5 p.m.

The Books Corn Maze will also be open from 1 -7 p.m. on Saturday during the event.
