CALGARY — The woman sought as a person-of-interest in the quadruple homicide in Calgary earlier this month has been arrested in Toronto.

Diana Liao, 24, was arrested in Toronto Thursday night. The arrest comes hours after police announced they had arrested Tewodros Mutugeta Kebede, the man seen in surveillance footage travelling with Liao.

Liao was considered a person of interest in the deaths of Glynnis Fox, Tiffany Ear, Cody Pfeiffer and Hanock Afowerk. Fox, Ear and Pfeiffer were found dead in a burnt-out vehicle in the Sage hill Neighbourhood on July 10, while Afowerk, the registered owner of the car, was found dead near Highway 22 and Highway 8 two days later.

Liao is believed to have had a relationship with Afowerk, but police are not elaborating on the nature of their relationship.
