MEDICINE HAT, AB — Medicine Hat police officially confirming the suspicious device found in South Ridge Tuesday which prompted the bomb disposal unit to be called in is not suspicious.

Police were called to Southridge Drive and Sage Road, where the device was discovered Tuesday afternoon. The bomb disposal unit was called in, and shortly before 4 p.m., a bomb disposal robot disabled the device.
