Three-year-old Alberta boy dies after being found unresponsive in swimming pool

DELACOUR, ALBERTA — A three-year-old boy who was found in his backyard pool last week northeast of Calgary has died.
Airdrie RCMP were called to the home in Delacour on Thursday after a family member found the child unresponsive in a pool.
The boy was rushed to the Alberta Children’s Hospital in critical condition. He passed away on Monday with his family by his side.
RCMP are still investigating how the boy ended up in the pool.
