May 30, 2017 | 6:58 PM

MEDICINE HAT — The City of Medicine Hat is looking into a power outage affecting the southeast and southwest hill areas as well as Crescent Heights.

The power reportedly went out around 6 P.M. according to some of our viewers.

The city says a pole fire at the riverview sub-station caused the outage. 7,000 customers are believed to be without power.

Crews are currently looking into the matter and will have power back up as soon as possible.

There’s no word yet on when that might be.

We will post further updates as they become available.
