CALGARY, AB – Three Medicine Hat products will be lacing up their cleats and strapping on their helmets for the final time as high schoolers on Monday in Calgary.

The 2017 Senior Bowl will be held at McMahon Stadium, and will feature the best that Alberta high school football has to offer.

Medicine Hat High Mohawks Austin Cross Child, Carter Schlenker, and Riley Thomson will take to the field as part of Team South.

All three were selected to the all-star squad following Team South’s camp last month, with Cross Child suiting up on the offensive line and Schlenker and Thomson seeing time at linebacker.

Two representatives from Brooks High will be taking part as well, as running back Vad Kiana and defensive back Sendlay Mirtil will join the trio from Medicine Hat.

This will be the 28th edition of the Senior Bowl, with the event being heavily attended by scouts from Canadian universities.

Last year, the South rolled to a 39-6 victory over Team North, opening kickoff from McMahon is set for 12:00 pm.
