Blaze extinguished along Shannon Drive on Friday

MEDICINE HAT, AB – A home in the city’s southwest suffered extensive damage after a fire broke out on Friday.
The blaze occurred in the 100 block of Shannon Drive in the early evening on Friday, with fire crews on scene for a number of hours.
Smoke was billowing out of all four corners of the home, which suffered extensive damage especially to the attic.
Luckily, no injuries were reported in the fire.
