Summer farmer’s market returns to Medicine Hat

MEDICINE HAT, AB – Although summer is still a few weeks away, the summer season kicked off in Medicine Hat on Saturday with the city’s first farmer’s market down at the Stampede Grounds.

Hundreds of customers packed the Cypress Centre Fieldhouse on Saturday, marking the return of the weekly gathering.

Live music was brought in to entertain residents, while the Medicine Hat Sunshine Skillet cooking competition showed off local cooking skills.

This is also the 20th anniversary of the farmer’s market in the city.

You can visit the Stampede Grounds every Saturday between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm until October 7 for the Medicine Hat Farmer’s Market.
