Farmers’ Market returns Saturday

MEDICINE HAT, AB — A spring and summer staple in Medicine Hat is ready to get underway once again.

The Medicine Hat Exhibition & Stampede Farmers’ Market, now in its 20th season, returns this Saturday at the Cypress Centre.

This year, fresh produce, homemade baking, fruits, meat crafts and jewellery, among many other items, will be for sale by vendors.

This year, opening day of the market will coincide with the 5th annual Sunshine Skillet cooking competition, which also takes place at the Cypress Centre.

The market runs every Saturday from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. until October 7. Admission is free.
