Rough road trip for Sun Devils in Calgary

CALGARY, AB – Not the weekend the Medicine Hat Sun Devils were looking for, as they dropped both of their road games in Calgary.

Medicine Hat began the road trip against the Calgary Tier II Axemen on Saturday afternoon.

The Axemen were able to shred the Sun Devils defence, and defeat Medicine Hat 19-16.

Trying to rebound from that loss, the Sun Devils faced off against the undefeated Calgary Wranglers on Sunday.

Not quite as high scoring but the same result, as Medicine Hat fell by a 12-9 final against the Wranglers.

With the pair of losses, the Sun Devils see their record drop below .500 to 3-4 on the season.

The lengthy road trip continues next weekend for Medicine Hat, as they travel to face the Sylvan Lake Yettis and Red Deer Renegades on Saturday and Sunday.
