MEDICINE HAT, AB — It could be the final time we see this sight at the Medicine Hat Arena.
Crews were hard at work on Monday, removing the sheet of ice at the end of another hockey season.
The Arena will not be used for ball hockey and lacrosse season, and once those sports finish in the summer, the 47-year-old building is set to close. Council voted last year to close the building as a cost-savings measure.
