Mayor Clugston challenges Mayor Spearman to friendly wager

MEDICINE HAT, AB — It appears WHL playoff fever has spread to the political level.

Medicine Hat Mayor Ted Clugston has announced a friendly wager with Lethbridge Mayor Chris Spearman on Facebook in light of the playoff series between the Tigers and Hurricanes.

If the Tigers win, Spearman will dawn the black-and-orange while helping out the Medicine Hat Food Bank. If the Tigers (somehow) lose, Clugston will be heading down Highway 3 to help out Lethbridge’s Food Bank. Cash donations from each losing mayor is also a requirement.
