Have only been living here since November, very much impressed with the city street crews, clearing snow, etc. and most recently street cleaning. Job well done!!

To the person complaining of the type of music played during hockey games, you should maybe realize the music is for the team. The only complaint I have & many others it to turn both the music and mic down!  It’s pretty bad when you can’t talk to your neighbour without having your mouth in their ear so they can hear you.

I am getting tired of reading the guest columns published in the paper that are just angry, misinformed, fearmongering rants – does media not have an obligation to ensure that what these people write is FACTUAL?

Extremely grateful that the recent Alberta government budget did not resort to a sales tax or cuts to education or health – we need more nurses and teachers, not less!

Considering the status of our courts…. today alone we shipped a murderer to another province, gently tapped a bunch of drug dealers on the wrist, and basically released a set of thieves to go free and all are told to simply “be good little boys and girls” until we decide how petty the fines are going to be… do the crime, make ‘em do the time!

Glad to see that the MHPS and the Provincial ALERT team is doing such a great job in getting drugs and criminals off the street… now if we could get the judges to see the great work and not just turn these culprits back on the streets, the “cops” would actually be accomplishing something!

Now that the weather is so lovely I really want to ride my motorcycle but the streets in my area have yet to be cleared, making it so dangerous for bikes. I live on the South-East hill and wonder why it is taking so long to have the streets swept?
