Police hosting business fraud awareness session

MEDICINE HAT, AB — The Medicine Hat Police Service will provide tips to business owners on how they can avoid becoming victims of fraud.
The service is hosting a Merchant Fraud Awareness presentation tonight at the Monarch Theatre. Constable Kurtis LaDouceur from the Major Crime Section will provide information about fraud trends targeting business, and tips for business owners on how to protect themselves from fraud.
The session does not require preregistration and there is no cost to attend. The event begins at 7 p.m.
