Spring water woes in Lethbridge

Mar 20, 2017 | 6:10 AM

LETHBRIDGE, AB. – The quick melt and ice jams on the Oldman river is making the water harder to treat at the Lethbridge water treatment plant.

Residents of the Windy City are being asked to refrain from washing their cars – avoid using dishwashers and washing machines and taking long showers, as the city of Lethbridge looks to conserve it’s reservoirs of treated water.

It’s hoped that will give the water treatment plant the chance to make adjustments and avoid a boil water order in the near future.
