MEDICINE HAT, AB — The Gas City played host to the U12 Tier III Boys and Girls indoor soccer provincial championships this weekend, marking the first time Medicine Hat has held such an event.

In the girls championship the Fort St. John Northern Strikers beat Tempest FC from Coaldale 5-4.

The boys title game saw the Edmonton Millwoods Selects defeat the Edmonton Warriors 3-2, the game winning goal finding the back of the net with just 0.4 seconds left.
