LETHBRIDGE, AB — Three-pointers dropped from all over the place in the Hat High Mohawks first game of 4A Provincials last night. In fact, their stellar play from beyond the arc set a new team record, according to the Mohawks twitter page.

An 81-75 victory over Jasper Place came thanks to 18 three’s, six of which splashed by Kahden Wright.

Hat High will look for a similar performance this morning as they take on the top-ranked team in the province, St. Francis Xavier. The winner will advance to the 4A Provincial Semi Finals later tonight.

The Kwahommies also found success on the court in Lethbridge on yesterday. Their opening game of 4A Provincials brought in a 74-55 win over St. Albert Catholic.

The girls road to a provincial banner doesn’t get any easier either, taking on the top-ranked LCI Clippers this morning.
