Why do all the fun things always seem to happen on the same weekend?  Hometown Hockey, Trade Show, Rattlers in the basketball Provincials, Jeff Foxworthy… and then some weekends are so boring!

Happy that the record store in the Mall isn’t closing after all!

Some idiot ran into one of the poles in our back alley the other day and the wifi has been out ever since. I saw the (telecom van) coming when I left my house, however when I got back we still had no wifi. It’s been 2 days now, come on!!!

Happy (and sad) that my friend is off on a new adventure to the other side of Canada. Wishing her a great fresh start and safe travels!

Thanks to the dozens of drivers who didn’t bother to stop or even slow down after I hit a deer on highway 3 the other night. I had serious damage to the trailer I was pulling, and another pair of hands would have been so helpful. Actual thanks to the lady who did stop to check on me. Sad that people are so caught up in their own little worlds they won’t bother to help a neighbour.

Shout out to the idiot who didn’t bother stopping while pulling out of one of the parking lanes at a local store. Learn the rules of the road buddy! A coy wave to say “sorry” for almost hitting us while pulling out at full speed is not good enough.
