Environmental stewardship on the farm forum planned for city

MEDICINE HAT, AB – Tomorrow is the deadline to register for a free Environmental Stewardship farm forum that’s scheduled for next month in Medicine Hat.
The event is being hosted by the South East Alberta Watershed Alliance, and will feature a panel of producers and ranchers from Southeast Alberta. They will provide their experiences with various best management practices.
The forum will also include talks and discussion about themes from the South Saskatchewan Regional Plan, challenges faced by large land owners, and the future of the Environmental Farm Plan.
The conference will take place March 10th from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Medicine Hat Lodge. The forum is free, but registration closes on March 1st.
