UPDATE: Roads open near St. Paul following civil emergency

ST. PAUL COUNTY, AB –  RCMP have lifted the roadblocks and Highway 36 is open following a brief “civil emergency” near St. Paul Monday morning.

Mounties had set up a detour on Highway 36 south of St. Brides in St. Paul County as a result of the emergency.

Police were asking the public to stay clear of the area, but details of what authorities are dealing with have not been released.
