MEDICINE HAT, AB — The Economic Development Alliance of Southeast Alberta, along with Medicine Hat College, are presenting a free afternoon session today targeted to job seekers.

The session will feature a tradeshow and guest speakers, helping people in southeast Alberta learn about career opportunities in renewable energy.

Carol Howes, VP, communications and petroleum at Enform, will talk about the tranferability of energy skills in the oil and gas industry to other sectors, including renewables.

The session immediately precedes the Southeast Alberta Energy Diversification Symposium (SEEDS), where the findings of the Southeast Alberta Energy Diversification Report, created by the college, EDA and Alberta Labour, will be shared.
