Mad Hatter & Happy Hatter – February 23

Feb 23, 2017 | 11:40 AM

Happy Hatter
I am so grateful for all the FREE events on Family Day. We attended Police Point, the YMCA, and the Leisure Centre. An entire day packed with activities!

Happy Hatter
Very please to see so many people at the MHES grounds this past weekend, supporting the local Market

Mad Hatter
I am tired of the abuse of the photo radar system being placed up and down hills, yet they ignore parks like Sierra Blvd. Saamis Rotary Park. People are constantly flying through 30 km at 40 km/h to 60 km/h zones where children play.

Happy Hatter
I am actually a happy and mad hatter. I love that the deer wander through the city like they really belong and own it. What other city this size has wildlife maneuvering the streets? I hate that they eat my plants and poop on my lawn. My driving habits have honed as I am aware the deer can jump in front of my car at any time.

Mad Hatter
As I was driving home yesterday (after freezing rain and tons of snow) I almost got in TWO separate accidents because of careless driving. First – a semi ran a red light. Yes. A SEMI! There is a reason there are the flashing signs to tell drivers when the light is changing. It means slow down. If I hadn’t hesitated before pulling out, without a doubt my little Versa would have been TOAST. Then, I had a lady cut right in front of me at a stop sign. She was the last person to pull up to the four way stop too, so it’s not like she could have been mistaken. I am absolutely TIRED of careless idiots on the road. Your carelessness can mean someone else’s life.
