Mad Hatter & Happy Hatter – February 21
Mad Hatter
I was pulling out of my parking spot at a store over the weekend and I was already more than half way out when an old man decides to pull out from the parking spot behind me. Not only did he NOT LOOK first, but he kept backing up after I laid my horn on him. He didn’t even hear me honking and desperately trying to get his attention. I BARELY had enough room to pull out as his car was inches from mine. I was absolutely in shock that he didn’t pay the slightest attention. What if instead of a car, I had been a person – a child? Dangerous driving like this needs to stop.
Mad Hatter
I wish people in this city knew how to merge properly and use free flow traffic lanes. When merging, if you are on the road that someone is trying to merge onto, move over to the left lane or adjust your speed so that they can merge safely. If you are merging, you don’t need to drive the entire length of the merge lane and then stop at the end. Basic driver’s education people.

Happy Hatter
Happy to see the launch of Women Talk Medicine Hat this month, what a great way for diverse women in our community to get together, share their stories and empower other women!
