Men’s basketball team increase win streak to five

MEDICINE HAT, AB – The Medicine Hat College Rattlers men’s basketball team continued their strong play this season, topping the Lethbridge College Kodiaks 97-83 in Lethbridge Friday night.

Pietro de Andrade led the way for the Rattlers with 21 points, while Gui Fuck scored 19 points and Salissou Abdoul Kader had 17 points through the game.

While the men extended their winning streak to five games, the Rattlers women’s basketball team dropped their third game in a row, losing 91-48 to the Kodiaks.

Megan Getz led the Rattlers with 17 points. Emma Lowry of the Kodiaks scored 24 points, while Logan Moncks had 23 points.

The Rattlers and Kodiaks meet again tonight at the Snake Pit. The women take the court at 6 p.m., while the men play at 8 p.m.
