Tigers host last-place Raiders
MEDICINE HAT — On paper, the Medicine Hat Tigers are better than their Wednesday night opponents.
Medicine Hat has won six of their last seven games, scoring a combined 40 goals in that time. Finding the twine has been the club’s strong suit all season, as they sit second in the WHL with 264 goals.
That’s far from what the Prince Albert Raiders have mustered this season. The northern Saskatchewan squad sits in last place in the WHL, and have scored the fewest goals as well.
But despite their performance, they appear to have found their groove lately. The Raiders have won five of their last eight games, including victories over the Moose Jaw Warriors and the Swift Current Broncos, who are second and fith place, respectively, in the Eastern Conference.
