Premier Notley expected in Medicine Hat Friday

MEDICINE HAT, AB — After nearly two years in office, the premier of Alberta is finally coming to Medicine Hat.

Rachel Notley was elected in May of 2015 and has yet to visit the Gas City.

Details about her visit have not been made public.

Mayor Ted Clugston extended an invitation to the premier last year in hopes of discussing the carbon tax and the increase to the minimum wage.

The last time Notley was in our city was just before the last election, back in April 2015.
