Tigers tripped up by hot goalie in Saskatoon

Despite a 51 shot barrage, the Medicine Hat Tigers fell 5-3 to the Blades in Saskatoon last night.  James Hamblin scored on a penalty shot for the Tigers (30-14-1), while Kristians Rubins and Ryan Jevne added goals of their own.  For the Blades, it was their third win in a row.

The Tigers are in Regina tomorrow night to take on the top ranked team in the Canadian Hockey League.  The Pats lead both the WHL standings and the CHL top ten rankings this week.  The Tigers received an honorable mention in the weekly rankings from the Canadian Hockey League.

Regina beat the Tigers 6-2 in their last clash on January 3rd in Medicine Hat.
