Redcliff council votes to join NotifyMeNow

REDCLIFF, AB — Redcliff is now officially part of a regional emergency notification system.
During Monday night’s town council meeting, council unanimously voted to join NotifyMeNow, a service the city announced in October to warn citizens about upcoming disasters or escalating emergencies. Messages can be sent to a person’s phone or inbox to inform them about safety precautions, evacuation centres and emergency updates. Messages can be sent to home or work phone numbers or emails.
The service is available to residents of Medicine Hat, Redcliff and Cypress County. Residents can visit www.notifymenow.ca to register.
