Police charge two following stabbing at pub

MEDICINE HAT, AB — Two individuals have been charged after a man was stabbed outside a pub on New Year’s Eve.

Police were called to a disturbance at the After Work Oasis pub on 20 Street NE at aproximately 10:40 PM on Saturday. According to police, the dispute continued outside where a man was stabbed.

Police have now charged two individuals in relation to the incident.

Jarrad Schneider, 32, has been charged with aggravated assault and possession of a weapon dangerous to the public. Calgary resident Michelle Alliston, 28, has been charged with two counts of common assault and for uttering threats.

Scheinder remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in court on January 5. Alliston has been released on her own recognizance to appear in court on February 1.
