UPDATE: Bow Island RCMP officer to stand trial for sexual assault
MEDICINE HAT, AB — A Bow Island RCMP officer charged with sexual assault will head to trial on the charges next year.
Constable Elliott Teed will go to trial on March 10, 2017 on a charge of sexual assault and two counts of breach of trust.
Teed’s charges stemmed from a traffic stop on Feb. 12, 2015 in Bow Island.
It is alleged the officer touched a woman in a sexual manner while conducting a physical search during the stop.
